Harry Brorby's work was largely influenced by Contemporary artists such as Mark Rothko and Frank Stella. This visual analysis is based on the Mellon Scholars research project, Spontaneous Emotional Searching: A Contemporary Analysis of Humanistic Action by Carolyn Ellis. Ellis narrates and interviews non-art majors to increase the dialogue of the interdisciplinary understanding of art and art history.
